Although the CMSF could not present this award publicly at their yearly Christian Marchena Day, the board was happy to meet and congratulate Sean Butler in person this summer. It was a pleasure to connect with Sean, learn more about him and introduce him to last year’s scholarship recipient. Best of luck to Sean as he continues his studies at NJIT and loads of support to the Raritan High School Class of 2020 as they start their next, unique and unprecedented, chapter.

2019 Scholarship Recipient Announced!
The Christian Marchena Scholarship Fund (CMSF) is pleased to announce Erynn Rose Boyle as the 2019 recipient of the Christian Marchena Memorial Scholarship. The selection committee was impressed by several of the 26 student applications, so selecting just one was extremely challenging. Erynn was recognized for her character, work ethic and community presence. She wrote a moving essay in which she thoughtfully described her dreams and the unknowns that await her.
The CMSF wishes Erynn the best as she joins American University this fall to study Political Science and English.
